Become a Member

The Sonoma County Housing Coalition is a consortia of different stakeholders interested in housing affordability for all citizens of Sonoma County. The non-profit agency Burbank Housing Development Corporation serves as fiscal agent for the Coalition.

We endorse affordable housing projects, which when built, will provide much needed new affordable units. Our advocacy has helped move these projects through the public hearing process.

We adopted a Jobs Housing Linkage Policy, developed an Affordable Housing Toolbox, and have the framework for a Housing Trust in conjunction with the Community Foundation. We sponsor Affordable Housing Week to educate the community about housing issues. The members of the CC are committed and energetic about the Sonoma County Housing Coalition (SCHC). The CC has adopted what we believe to be a fair and equitable dues structure. When the SCHC formed it was intended to be volunteer, as it will remain. However there are basic operating costs, mailing, web site maintenance, etc. which we are unable to support without your membership.

Small businesses – Non Profits
(50 employees or less) – $125

Trade Associations/Chamber/
Labor Organizations – $170

Large Employers – $250

Scholarships are available to those unable to afford our membership fees.
